August 26th- Surveillance Project Synopsis:

Having taken just a few pictures previously of surveillance equipment in Queensgate Shopping Arcade in Peterborough, it now seems necessary to collect a more substantial amount of footage in the centre and surrounding area of Sheffield. A quick look around would suggest that the town centre is not as widely surveyed as the other towns that I have looked at. Indeed there is less non-specific arbitrary surveillance, i.e. of streets, but there is more in-store surveillance which perhaps does not pose as a collective authority as much as an external network of cameras.
