I listened to this album, because I am a glutton for Wu-punishment.

To be fair, there have been a few good songs on nearly every Wu album released this year, with Gza being the most solid (U-God after that, Inspectah Deck next) If they had released these songs as another Wu-family album, then we would have seen some shit, but as it is, we have albums like Supreme Clientele that get our hopes up only to see them dashed into pieces.
The beats on this album are more palatable than the latest releases...not innovative, but catchy and radio-friendly. Three of the beats (I don't have the names of songs in front of me now, but the second song was particularly bad) were terrible; poorly planned, poorly executed, just plain poor. Ghostface begins every rhyme with some funny as hell line that makes you want more...and then takes the song nowhere. And I mean every song. If he took the first four lines of every song and made them into one lyric, that would have been dope (plus, he rhymes the exact same way over the same type beat the entire album, so this would have been possible.)
The shining track of the album is the one with Method Man and Redman, which is really on point. When this becomes a single, it will be more than worth it. But the album, like much of the Wu released recently, is disappointing. The only reason to get it would be to complete your Wu library.
