5:43 PM I just wanted to comment on to what Jack said about the Houston Parties. They fuckin suck! I always wondered why the parties got cut so short. Also sometimes the parties even get canceled. Its happen to me like 2 or 3 times, when I get to the place, theres a cop there telling us that the party's canceled, due to some violations or something with the fire marshall. Thats why I havent been to a party in awhile. The last one I went to was in October, where Busta Ryhmes was suppose to be there, and wasnt even there, and it got cut at 2am. So everytime I hear theres a party going on in Houston, I'm like ehhhh, about it. I am at the clubs nowadays. No fuckin hassle. |

11:34 AM Yah houston parties suck ass that's why I'm making the 2hr drive to Austin on the weekends once I move back to Houston after graduation. I don't want to deal with all the teeny bopper druggies and risk having their idiot behavior shut down events. |

1:30 PM I could give a shit about how a person will dress at a rave. Let them wear their big, fuzzy pants and dozens of bracelets. But, when you wear shit like that outside of a party, then thats just plain sad. Yeah, one or two bracelets is cool. But, when you wear them up to your elbow when you hit up the local McDonalds, then thats just dumb. What I don't understand is why people dress that way. I go to parties because I love dancing to the music. How the fuck are you supposed to dance when you've got heavy pants and jewelry on your body? Too heavy and hot to dance in. |

4:55 PM Some kid wants to sell and buy some rolls at this party. There are undercovers at this event and set a quota that after 2 busts they will shut the event down. So they made the busts from these kids that want to get fucked up. The party gets shut down at 1am-2am and the cop starts loading up the etards and minors into the paddy wagon. you miss the headliners and also the djs you came to listen to because of those stupid kids that are getting fucked up at parties. So you never got the chance to hear the DJs you wanted to hear and the party is over at 1-2am. So, does that affect you in any way? This scenario happens all the time in Houston (almost every single weekend) and that is why I don't party there........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... this is soooo true it happened at tao. that party was supposed to end at like 4 but some guy died so they ended it early. i like wearing candy and stuff to some parties its fun. i'm usually sober too, but i like sharing bracelets and stuff. there is such thing as too much kandy like that one picture of the guy u had. i sport the kandy, but i dont go over bored i think its fun to do it and i agree to not wearing lots outside, like i wear a bracelet every now and then or a choker neclace, but thats it usually. my question is that u believe in all this love stuff which is cool if u dont go over bored, yet u r cussing and argueing wiht this guy, isnt that an oxymoran, i was just wondering. much love |

8:27 PM Who cares how somone dresses? Honestly? Does the way somone dress' REALLY matter? Thats like changing your view based on somones skin color, it's no different. It's just apparel, says very little about the wearer. I'm totally with you libnie. Keep it at the parties please, and don't wear so much you spend more time adjusting what your wearing than dancing. But I'm all for doing alomost whatever you want at a party, you go to them to get away from the real world. So the real world should not apply, well, to a certain degree (I think we can all agree on that). It should be about having fun. So I say if you come to a party to have fun, have fun, just don't prevent anyone else from having fun, and don't go to excess. And to the 2 guys arguing... This wasn't a good debate, like one of you said. It became childish and you both made it personal, you focused not on the issue but tried to find fault in one another to push your views further to the front. That sort of negativity doesn't do anything. |

Yeah I do cuss, can't help it, words are words... I think a disagreements alright once in awhile, but your right I contradicted myself. Ah oh well I'm not Ghandi, I can't do everything right. I know I took it personal when he was saying kid and shit like that. Haha how peaceful does your Ghandi look now? >> Also Trim you have some good points, I didn't look at it
like that I guess, but some of the childish parts were me trying to be
funny not to be taken serious. |

11:50 PM in my opinion(i dont know if this was said already) the scene grew up and transformed into a more fashionable scene!! i mean to be a kandi-kid was the thing when i began raving in '99, and so was wearing big ass pants and adidas shirts, but now its different! people wear smaller pants, dress nicer and do less drugs or at least from what i have seen, and im not sure about that one!! but when i started i used to get asked for light shows like crazy now i have to look for peps to give light shows! i miss my early days. sorry if this was already said but i didnt feel like reading everything...........utz |
