Things move slowly in the Summertime, as the Turtle habitually retreats to his/her Summer dacha. Our most recent postings are two new poems here and here.

Reasonably recent stuff includes our reflections on the Uses of Ali G and English national identity, we have Opinions about Roy Foster's new book on Ireland, and then we bend our minds towards the recent Right wing successes in France and Burnley and asking the question, is it something in the whine? We've also enjoyed the new Star Wars film more than most, found some rude things to say about Naomi Wolf, continue to worry about the "war on terror", and have decided that we don't like Anarcho-Stalinism.
