[via Ken McCarthy]
"In March 2000, the Yes Men are put in charge of
answering mail at Gatt.org, a website designed by
RTMark to look like the WTO's official website but
convey the WTO's message more clearly."
They field a request for the WTO's Michael Moore to
address a "Free Trade
Uber Alles" group.
Mr. Moore was not available, so they sent their
own man: "Andreas
Bichlbauer, J.D." an imposter
masquerading as an official representative of
the WTO complete with his own PowerPoint presentation.
Apparently few in the audience could tell the difference
between
Bichlbauer's staged ravings and the WTO's typical
"Free Trade Uber Alles"
pitch!
Enjoy!
