They are apparently people who dig up dirt on the business world by posing as people other than themselves.

That's very funny. They should have gotten Michael Moore to play Mike Moore.

There's nothing wrong with the idea of free trade, in its original form. There is everything wrong with what "free trade" has come to mean - large corporations getting even more money at the expense of third-world nations and small businesses.

Third world small businesses? Most people in the third world are starving to death. At least now they have SOME form of employment.

Zulu, i sincerely doubt that most people (greater than 50%) of those in the third world are starving to death.

quote:
Malnutrition contributes to over 6 million child deaths each year, 55 per cent of the nearly 12 million deaths among children under five in developing countries. Half of all children under five years of age in South Asia and one third of those in sub-Saharan Africa are malnourished.

http://www.unicef.org/sowc98/fs01.htm

it would be preciser to say that most deaths of children in the third world are contributed to by malnutrition

But they don't get 50 cents an hour for making shoes. They get 5 cents, just like they do for growing rice (which actually isn't hourly-based, but that's beside the point).

If they get paid the same amount of money to grow rice as to make shoes then why do they do it ?
