Slide 4 of 20
Notes:
These history slides have music--a repulsive nonsense-word techno/trance/rave song ("Celestial Tribe" by Agartha).
As narrator begins, the "1000 a.u.c." rotates a few times, very beautifully, monumentally, emotionally. Then it stops.
This happens similarly in the following slides, with those dates.
Rome’s last emperor was named after its first (Augustus), and also after its mythical founder (Romulus, who collaborated with Remus and a lactating wolf).
Romulus Augustulus left his throne to the Goths right after the millenium of Rome’s founding (ab urbe condito).
[shorter screen text animates appropriately, here and in all slides, to sync up with narrator]
