4BC was developed for artists addicted to never seen before retro styles! It is designed to express a new, full color, but low quality Vintage digital!™ look.

The 4 Bit Components® format is a three channel 8bit/4bit hybridization. The main portion of the color properties is stored in 4bit values. Each block in the grid, 4 pixels wide and 8 pixels high, consists of one color reference value (1Byte) and 32 offset values (16Byte) for each color channel.

Images stored in the 4 Bit Components® format are notable for its gradient block pattern. These blocks form a hyper digital surface called Vintage digital!™.
