Finally Block Ascii has its own file format, and it is built of the five classic Block Ascii characters only. You can have the complete high ascii developer graphics style from the early 90s, when readme files were the most important geek communication!

BASCII is a black and white bi-level format. The source image is divided into 8x16px blocks and the color average of these determine the equivalent Block Ascii character. Each character consists of 16Byte, 1Byte per row, 1bit per pixel.

Block Ascii is the most retro like image format ever.
