There is much that you and I have not gone over. In the same manner as the things we were fighting for, we simply were, and then were not, there. All of our efforts have been expunged from the record by the great minds of history--our lives, too, have been effaced. Whatever we were doing there, together, in that time, has become obscure, suspect.
