The priest sends me the order of service, after friends of my mother, two women I hardly know, have decided on the hymns and the lesson. It's handwritten on a little piece of paper by the Rev. Hugh Dickson. I refuse to allow passages from Revelation, which Dickson has recommended and which the two old crones have seconded. This is the extent of my involvement.
