To the right, an open green plot, surrounded by a makeshift fence. Diagonally opposite, a healthy young building of negligible charm, a blooming profanity. Our attention immediately shifts to an older house: its crumbling pre-war façade covered in scaffolding, absorbing the rain, holds our gaze. It is the withered oak of this crossroads, withstanding the storm unshaken. But the healthy tree is toppled as the storm can grasp its crown.
