Nostalgia

Many people seemed to have a romantic longing for the days of Yugoslavia.

Their lifestyle was better under Tito and Yugoslavia.
Travel was easier. They had access to the sea.
There were more places to sell Macedonian products.

Most of the younger generation didn't remember those times.

No one seemed to miss Communism - just the comforts of Tito's Yugoslavia.
