This reminds me of Ukraina, on an improbable adventure that I have had a hard time to digest. This was ten years ago. We got trapped by Aeroflot's corruption and couldn't get out of the country. It was impossible to buy the aeroplane tickets even when Milan had a broken leg. When we eventually boarded the airline, I bought a bottle of whiskey but did not dare to drink it. I thought that I would have to drive him to the hospital after landing.
