Semi Private Space

I was once looking for some commercial galleries in a huge office block in Broadway. It involved negociating lots of floors, miles of corridor space and second guessing endless doors. I was lost in the continuing samness, I could not 'read' the interior of the building. I ducked in and out of more ad agency and photography offices than galleries. I had never encountered this bizzare relationship between semi public and semi private space before an such a scale.
