Taxis without roof signs are often recognisable by the amount of tree
air fresheners hanging from the rear view mirror. The tree air fresheners
don't so much get replaced but gradually build up over time. The bunch
of little card trees becomes like a forest of
tachometers, recording the jobs and the journeys.
