Both about Engineering

The car and the built structures are both about engineering. They both demonstrate that to produce something functional ingenuity in design is important. They are similar in this way. The car asserts 'performance', the buildings proclaim 'accommodation'. However whilst the houses and structures may be built separately, together they perform as part of one larger organic unit, a built environment. The car comes off a production line with thousands of others but somehow exists as an individual object designed to enhance individual identities.
