Pozzuoli is a small little town near Naples, Italy, which is slowly sinking. You can see cracks on buildings. The European Union gave money for the revitalisation of the deserted town. No resident would move back, of course, so city-planners dreamed up another solution. They decided Pozzuoli would be turned into a shopping mall, in this way perpetuating another form of the town's emptiness.
