Big Dig

Instead of investing in public transportation, Bostonians decided to bury a stretch of elevated highway that runs through the heart of the citys underground. I saw the same strategy in Basel. But then everyone seems to hate the Big Dig. Cities get praise for getting elevated highways out of view and construction sites under control.
