Tel Aviv
I like cities that watch the sea. The image is similar to what I see driving
past Koper. The city's gaze is almost dormant. Tel
Aviv has a different, a dreaming gaze. Sasa and I took a walk on the narrow
land between the sea and the city, stopping to have a drink at a beach
pub. It was so beautiful to sit on the beach, facing the sea and the night
sky and being aware of the city's pulse behind us. We saw a star moving,
coming closer, then transforming itself into the aeroplane. It zipped
above and behind, beyond the city.
