Blood Vessel

Driving under a series of bridges in a city can give the city a very figurative reading initially. Being in a car is a bit like being a tiny particle in the body of the city. If the roads are networks like blood vessels, that inter-connect, over and under-lap it is then easy to read the flow of traffic in two different directions as oxygenated and deoxygenated blood making its way to and from the heart. However with traffic it is often making an effort to circumnavigate the heart. It is a slightly different organism.
