"For the meltdown website we have created "Words", a utility for you to download to your hard disc. "Words" will scan your hard disc for text. When it finds one of Laurie's list of most commonly used words, it will read the context to you and Laurie will speak the words from her list. The utility can run in the background, trawling through files, giving a voice back to text that has become silent - texts that you have either accidentally forgotten and neglected or purposefully suppressed. A present from Laurie Anderson, for you to cut out and keep."
