The page you have entered was created as an art work. Rather than using the medium as a presentation channel, I chose to concentrate on delivering an experience while addressing the realm of the imagination and associative thinking. Some of the images and texts involved appear in a different format as actual paintings and as such, they deliver an entirely different experience.
"Love Letters" is a collection of images and writings based on my own biography - living in New York City in the heart of the East Village. The living situation evokes two main conditions: First - an endless interest in one's neighbor's habits and habitat and second - a great desire to travel far away to explore naked lands (My friend from overseas recently said she couldn't understand how I can live in a "box" (my apartment), I told her I was living in a dream). Another side of this story is the struggle to make a living and still keep the artistic production going on in a country that seems to becoming increasingly alienated to art.
By the nature of its layout the page is growing continually and unexpectedly. Some of the images and writings might be offensive to some people, those who recognize themselves as such - stay away.
One of the issues that has been a concern to many artists who considered working in this medium is copyright protection, with that in mind, I have created an image for you to take home and play with (draw by numbers) at the end of this path.
Take care
