Harry had not come home last night. For the first time in all these years, he had not come home. And, why was she not upset about that? Victoria was in a snit. STILL! She was "not receiving calls" today. |
Ginnie sat in an empty booth. The coffee shop was empty for this time of morning. Where were the local pundits? The cops? The koffee klatch? It must have been a late night in town. Had she missed a dance at the Moose or something? She sipped her coffee and feigned interest in the morning news. Like she was in the mood to read! Huh!
.The DSL connection went down last night. Ginnie looked at her watch. She was scheduled to meet Bookman 462 in 10 minutes, outside Tori's. Although she didn't know everything she probably needed to know about him, she could not go on any more. Not a day longer.
