1 part Glue: (Rabbit skin size)to 10 parts water, let soak overnight.

Next day heat in a double boiler.

Gradually add slue to 'whiting' powder: (2 parts powder to 1 part glue).

Leave stand for 1/2 hour, then apply first coat. When gloss goes off surface apply second coat.

The separate coats should be applied in alternative directions to build in strength between the layers: 1st coat ^, second coat >, and so forth.

Up to 5 coats can be applied in this way.

Sand down surface when dry.
