26 / 4 / 00 Non-Space Through the use of misleading signage we once got locked in a car park fire escape that was attached to a shopping centre. Somehow we were sandwiched between the shopping centre the car park and the street. Because the fire escape door was also locked we found ourselves in a non-space within the structure. We decided to try to attract the attention of people in the car park by shouting and kicking the no return fire door that had locked us in. Seeing all the shoe and boot marks on the kick plates of the door made us realise that getting trapped in this non-space was not an unusual occurrence.
