Fools Paradise was performed at Northwestern University on May 1, 2004, in Louis Hall's large film production studio, as part of Performing Imagination, a series of events sponsored by the Program in the Study of the Imagination, the Center for Art and Technology, the Program in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and the New Music Marathon.

Currently Paul Hertz is working on an installation version of Fools Paradise and a 5.1 surround sound spatialization engine for use with the Ygdrasil CAVE scripting environment. See the Proposal for details.

The production of Fools Paradise was supported by a grant from the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in the Arts, and studio space from the Center for Art and Technology, both at Northwestern University.
